Born as a "Country boy" in the Southern field of Puerto Varas, Lake District Chile; I was born surrounded by the great Andes mountain range, volcanoes, evergreen forest, lakes, rivers, farmers and "Baqueanos or Gauchos", who gave me their knowledge and wisdom about our root and why we have to respect and love. I've been working in Travel Companies & Lodges for more than 30 years; from the mystic Atacama Desert in Northern Chile, to the desolate South Patagonia in Torres del Paine and Tierra del Fuego. Also, I was a teacher and Consultant on Rural Tourism Programs in my District. Thanks to God, my family, and my hard work, I've traveled, and I specialized in Adventure Tourism, Leadership, and Business in New Zealand for eighteen months(Scholarship awarded by the Chilean Government - Education Ministry 2010). With academic studies in Tourism Business and Adventure Travel; Administration Degree; Wildlife courses; Native Flowers and Forest courses; Good knowledge in Local Traditions and Wilderness First Responder courses, I believe I can give you a very professional service and a great "Experience of Life" with our Local People and Native Nature; whom they are the most valuable treasure of our land in Patagonia, Chile. I specialize in operating Small Groups for cruise ships, Independent Travelers,s and Tailor Made programs from Araucania, Temuco to Chiloe Island; always focusing on Nature and Local traditions. From north to south and from mountain to sea, our privileged nature provides shelter to hundreds of bird species in Chile that cross the skies or run on land and wetlands, reservoirs, lakes, lagoons, and river mouths. There are more than 500 different species that make up Chile's bird life, to the delight of these birdwatchers and nature fans. Southern Chile is the land of temperate forests and snow-capped volcanoes. From the enchanting Nothofagus and Monkey-puzzle Tree forests to the lush Valdivian Rainforest, every inch dripping with mosses and ferns, these forests are home to inquisitive Tapaculos, massive Woodpeckers and cute Penguins. The waters surrounding the island of Chiloé are home to the newly discovered "Pincoya Storm-Petrel," a must-see for pelagic fans! On our tour Chiloé Island: Penguin Colony and mudflats, we'll have opportunity on both our ferry crossings from the mainland to the island and back to spot this poorly-known species. This tour can be customized according to your need it.
