Belogradchik Private Guided Trip

The formation of the Belogradchik Rocks started during the Permian period, about 230 million years ago, with the tectonic cycle folding to create the Balkan Mountains... My area, where I have grown up and where my beloved grandparents have told me my first tale. Here I was playing with the little lambs and kids in our backyard. In the summer I was running freely through the fields and towards the Balkans. And in the evening, trying to catch all the fire flies, tired, I was listening to the crickets and the frogs from my bed, feeling safe & happy! Come to visit me, - I'll open the mystery for you and show you all the magic and weird shapes. Each rock group has its own myth expressing our creativity. . . In the legend of the Madonna, a beautiful nun falls in love with a man on a white horse, gets pregnant, is cast out by the monks and as she is leaving the nunnery, day turns to night and all, Madonna, monks, man on the white horse are turned to stone forming the rocks.

Picking up the guests from their location; - one hour drive to the Fortress and the Rocks; - coffee and snacks, - walk in the Fortress surrounded by beautifully shaped red rock formations - driving back to the guests location in Vidin City Drive around Vidin with photo stops.
