Hi I'm Val, I have been working in the travel business since 2001. For 14 years I lived in USA and worked mainly introducing North America, between Canada and USA, to Brazilian tourists. Some years later I moved to France where I started targeting the American and Canadian markets as well as the Brazilian tourists that were visiting Europe. I'm back in Brazil since 2001 since then I have been working as an official tour guide in Rio de Janeiro. The city has changed along the years however maintaining the center as it was with all its palaces. During the largest immigration period (between first and second world war), Petropolis welcomed many western europeans that were looking for moderate climate when docking in Rio. This fact has redesigned the architecture in Rio!

Arriving in Petropolis, we'll stop for a view of the winding road used to get there! Among the places visited, we'll stop at the Imperial museum (summer residence used by the last Brazilian emperor), visit the charming Crystal palace, Saint Peter cathedral, a short walk on the famous av.
