Overview of your Cordoba tour
Traslasierra in English is "behind the sierras". This Valley is located on the other side of the highest mountains of the province of Córdoba , starting our trip in the City of Córdoba. To arrive there, we will have to go towards the west to find the Andean condor's home in this part of Argentina. Much older than the Andes and even the Rockies, the sierras of this valley are the perfect frame for your pics composed by natural balconies, a wild nature you will love, the land of an Argentinian saint (the Cura Brochero) and his legacy, natural swimming pools, traditional churches and dishes, lands of "gauchos", and the most exciting landscapes. Visit the local communities, submerge in our history, our heritage, and our delicious food. Discover where the most traditional candy of Argentina is done: the alfajor. An adventure through time and out off the beaten path. . . Will you miss it?
Your Cordoba tour itinerary
We will be starting at your hotel or wherever you were staying at 9 AM. Let's enjoy the route to the Valley of Traslasierra. After 45 minutes (aproximately) we will have a stop at any cafe by the side of the road. We will be getting down to the center of the Valley one hour after our first stop to visit Nono where we will have lunch. After the lunch we will visit Mina Clavero and Villa Cura Brochero to enjoy with the local culture and to taste the most traditional sweet of the "sierras de Córdoba": the alfajor.
