Dear guests, you are welcome to visit the Southern capital of Kazakhstan! I'll be happy to assist you for enjoyable exploration of Almaty and nearby attractions in comfort and safety! My qualified and friendly guide service will help you to explore the biggest landlocked country in the world in an interesting, opening, and fun way. As a Kazakh guide, native to Almaty, I will help you to explore the best of Almaty and Kazakhstan. The insight is made to the history, politics, economy, people and culture. My general education is Human Geography, with Bachelor degree from Kazakh State National University, MA degree from Indiana University, USA (2005). My US thesis was devoted to Tourism Development in Kazakhstan. My general job is lecturing sustainable development, geography, research scientific methods at the university, where the educational language is English. Referring to my guide qualification, I have following certificates: guide certificate issued by Kazakh Tourism Association, a certificate of completion of Silk Road Heritage Guide, Hands-on Guide Training, issued by World Federation of Tourist Guides Associations and a guide certificate issued by Kazakh Tourism Board. I'm an open-hearted person, have great communication skills, and keep thinking still, in spite of many international travels I've made, that Almaty is the best city in the world. I will assist you also in tour customization and trip planning in order you to keep the best memories about Almaty and the country! I'm also easygoing with kids, as a mother of two.

This was our family's second tour with Altynai and it was a wonderful as the first. Altynai is an amazing guide with a wealth of knowledge and a wonderful sense of humor! It was truly a pleasure to get to know her as well as the breathtaking sights on this trip. Big Almaty Lake was gorgeous!

I have to rate Altynai higher than five stars for the way that she handled a very diverse group. We were tired and a little slow, but we never felt rushed. Her recommendations for places to visit during the and the lunch restaurant were fantastic. We truly felt we had seen the best of Almaty in one day. Thanks to her and Miriam the driver… especially for all the overruns!
