I would love to guide you and show my beautiful and ethnical city Almaty. I will meet you at the appointed place and we will start with a visit to Green bazaar - a place where you can see how local market look like and people trade their goods, try some of Kazakh national food. Then, we will visit Panfilov Park - named after the 28 heroes, who died for freedom and independence of the country. Zenkov Cathedral - the oldest building of the city, that is entirely wooden, built without any metal nails. Republic square with three main symbols of Kazakhstan and Obelisk devoted to independence. After that visit the top of Kok-Tobe hill, where you enjoy the unforgettable panorama of Almaty from the observation deck. At the foot of the tallest TV tower in Kazakhstan, you can take a walk along the winding paths of the Kok-Tobe park, . At the end of the tour take a short ride from Kok Tobe by cable car and I will bring you at appointed place.
We were with Galtsen for three days (3 tours). This tour was one of the days. As some of our tours overlapped Galtsen had to avoid repeating venues. Galtsen is very inventive on his tours and goes the extra mile to make them interesting and informative. Galtsen’s English and knowledge of history and culture is very good. Highly recommend this tour for a good overview of Almaty.
