Experience the majestic monuments of Washington DC illuminated at night! The Washington Monument has new illumination that was just installed in 2020, it lights up with a bright white glow that reflects beautifully on the reflecting pool. The World War 2 Memorial has an illuminated fountain, and LED lights all around the edges of the memorial. The Martin Luther King Memorial statue looks it's best at night with the illumination making the face come to life. The Korean War Veterans Memorial is also best seen at night, the statues are illuminated from below, highlighting the expressions of fear and shell shock on their faces. The wall etched with more than 2, 400 faces is also most visible at night witht the LED illumination. The view from the Lincoln Memorial at night is amazing, you can see the Washington Monument reflected on the reflecting pool, and the statue of Lincoln inside is also illuminated. The Vietnam War Veterans Memorial is also illuminated and night is a great time to visit.
