Greetings and Aloha! My name is Noah and I have been living between Kaua'i and Japan for the last 20 years with over 12 years of experience as a private tour guide. I am kind, friendly, and enjoy meeting new people. I am a fluent Japanese speaker and very fond of history and foreign/cultural studies. I work as a teacher in the public school system and play with a variety of bands and musicians on the island. I love surfing, music, Japan and the Japanese language, and traveling. I enjoy sharing my deep respect for Kaua'i and historical tales about the island with others. Kaua'i is a place of unbelievable striking natural beauty like no other on the planet. From emerald mountains to the the deep blue ocean there are canyons, caves, rivers, beaches, amazing wildlife, and plants and flowers of all kinds. It is also a place rich with history. Ancient Hawaiian temples and the island's first buildings and towns paint a colorful tapestry of the past. I hope to show you some of the best Kauai has to offer. Hawaii State licensed tour service

I have been doing this tour for nearly ten years now and I have had some really epic days with guests seeing rainbows, whales, the Hawaiian pueo owl, turtles, seals, big surf- the list goes on. I think the reason that people like the tour is that I'm a friendly people person and enjoy sharing my deep respect for the island with others. I have called Kauai home for nearly twenty years. This tour takes you to all the crucial must-see gems of Kauai's south and west shores including the canyon where we take some walks to see stunning views of the canyon and see native plants that were used by the Hawaiians for many things. Listen to three historical tales. Keep your eyes open for wild goats, chickens and pigs. Taste various types and flavors of coffee and eat at one of the best restaurants, local spots, or food truck. Be assured you will be taken to stellar spots for taking photos of both scenery and yourselves. I may even sing and play the ukulele for you : )
- We start by heading directly to the Waimea Canyon on the west side. On the way there, we will stop to stretch our legs and take a look at the Hanapepe Valley overlook. - Passing the old Russian Fort and the statue of Captain Cook in Waimea Town, we will begin our ascent into the canyon. - We will stop at about 1800 feet for our first view, stop at a miniature waterfall for pictures, take a short walk on a nature trail with native Hawaiian plants where you can stand at the very edge of the canyon, and then on to the main canyon viewing area. - From there we will head to the top stopping to see the Waipo'o Falls on the way. At the very top we will view two different vantage points of the Kalalau Valley from 4700 feet down to the ocean. - On the way back down I will tell a historical tale about Kalalau and we will stop in Waimea Town for lunch. - Then to the south side for Spouting Horn, Poipu Beach (monk seals)
