I am an Historian, Actor and creative Producer and have spent the last 25 years of my life creating and crafting my persona as Robin Hood. After cutting my teeth hosting banquets at Nottingham's 'Tales of Robin Hood' attraction (1995 - 2005), I was the Heritage Ranger for the Sherwood Forest Trust (2005 - 2011) resurrecting old customs with community groups. Over this period I also worked with a wide range of partners including English Heritage, National Trust, Glastonbury Festival and Nottingham Theatre Royal in projects of social, environmental and cultural regeneration. The pursuit and manifestation of the ethos and the aesthetics of the legend of Robin Hood is central to my work as an artist and is part of a wider portfolio of work as Ezekial Bone. 23 years of research and learning about the Nottingham story, 23 years of performance experience (15 years of tour guiding) have become manifest in my Robin Hood Tours which lead the way with educational entertainment. The tour starts at Nottingham Tourism Centre in the Old Market Square. Public toilets are available if required. The route is bespoke, depending on where you want to finish up ie ancient pub or grand restaurant.
