Hi my name is Riki and since running my very first tour through Wales in 2000, it has been my constant pleasure to welcome so many lovely people to enjoy Wales with me. I have travelled extensively around the world and in all my travels one thing has always been a constant, my love of Wales. Wales may only be a small country on a small island in the Atlantic but damn we are beautiful one and it always blows me away just how beautiful. Having worked for many years in the Outdoor industry instructing people of all ages in mountaineering, canoeing, climbing and so on I have noticed that it is always the natural beauty that people reflect on as well as the challenge of the activity. As a Green Badge Tour Guide for South Wales it is my constant pleasure to showcase my country to people from all over the world. Being an experienced Mountain Guide and Outdoor Activity Instructor it is also a delight for me to inspire travellers to enjoy the Adventurous side of Wales. I am a family man, being married for over 12 years with two great kids. I have a profound love of the natural world and enjoy walks with my family and my dog. Being a very proud Welshman it is always a delight for me to introduce strangers to the wonders of Wales and then in the course of my tours for those strangers to become friends. I look forward to inviting you onto one of my tours very soon, and I can promise you'll have the experience of a lifetime. Green Badge Tour Guide South East Wales I cannot currently guide in England however I am happy to collect clients from Local Airports and Train Stations for a negotiable taxi fee. For all water based activities you have to be able to swim 50 m/150 feet with confidence.

As a guide it is my absolute pleasure to run this tour as my favourite of all because in only three day of sightseeing and history, we visit and immerse in so many of the sites of ancient pre industrial South Wales. An early start on each day and we will see ruined castles, monasteries, ancient hill forts, standing stones, hidden churches and wizard's caves, mountains and waterfalls, beautiful beaches and the outstanding natural beauty and the splendour of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the Brecon Beacons National Park and the delights of St. Davids and St. Govans. We finish our tour in Cardiff the Capital City of Wales. Travelling by comfortable minivan we visit sites off of the beaten track, which means there is some walking involved and there are many uneven steps especially in the castles and older monuments. The itinerary is very flexible and open to change due to the weather and road conditions on the day.
Day 1: Pick up at the selected venue. Proceed through the Vale of Glamorgan visiting Neolithic burial chambers, the stones museum of Llanilltud, and the dramatic Heritage Coast, continuing West to the Gower Peninsular and our Hotel. Day 2: Continuing from our hotel West to the spectacular scenery of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, we visit Narberth, home of Pwyll Price of Dyfed, St. Govans chapel, St. Davids Cathedral in Wales' smallest City, the weeping yews of Nevern and the Castell Henllys Iron age fort. From there it's a short hop to the Preseli Hills, home of the Blue Stones of Stonehenge. A lovely cozy Hotel. Day 3: Takes us up into the Brecon Beacons National Park with its standing stones and incredible history. From the park, we continue by ancient and modern byways finally finishing where we began. This is an idea of a tour, we can create a bespoke tour specific to your needs, changing Hotels as required.
