Hi my name is Riki and since running my very first tour through Wales in 2000, it has been my constant pleasure to welcome so many lovely people to enjoy Wales with me. I have travelled extensively around the world and in all my travels one thing has always been a constant, my love of Wales. Wales may only be a small country on a small island in the Atlantic but damn we are beautiful one and it always blows me away just how beautiful. Having worked for many years in the Outdoor industry instructing people of all ages in mountaineering, canoeing, climbing and so on I have noticed that it is always the natural beauty that people reflect on as well as the challenge of the activity. As a Green Badge Tour Guide for South Wales it is my constant pleasure to showcase my country to people from all over the world. Being an experienced Mountain Guide and Outdoor Activity Instructor it is also a delight for me to inspire travellers to enjoy the Adventurous side of Wales. I am a family man, being married for over 12 years with two great kids. I have a profound love of the natural world and enjoy walks with my family and my dog. Being a very proud Welshman it is always a delight for me to introduce strangers to the wonders of Wales and then in the course of my tours for those strangers to become friends. For all water based activities you have to be able to swim 50 m/150 feet with confidence.

Overview of your Cardiff tour
This is a one day sightseeing tour from Cardiff visiting many of the incredible Heritage and Industrial sites of South East Wales and including a walking tour of Wales' Capital City. As a proud Welshman and a true patriot I love showing off my country to the world because I can reflect all that is good about modern and historic Wales. South Wales has a rich and varied history. We will visit many of it's most famous sites, where the first ever 1 Million pound check was written, where Martyrs were hung, witches were burned and Castles built and destroyed. Walk in the footsteps of ancient people as they buried and sacrificed to their Gods, go underground to visit the coalface and speak with the miners of the South Wales coalfield. I will take you to view some of the most spectacular and beautiful beaches in the world, dip your toes into the ocean, dance around standing stones and hunt for Dragons in the mountains. We do all of this and more! Come be a part of it and see the real Wales!
Your Cardiff tour itinerary
The start and finish in Cardiff unless otherwise stated. - We visit the Rhondda Valley and the Rhondda Heritage Park, a fantastic old coalmine now transformed into a Museum of Mining.
