Hello and welcome to my profile page. I suppose the first thing on your mind is: Why should I choose this guide instead of the others? The answer is simple: I absolutely LOVE taking people out and showing them around. It's not just a case of booking a tour; we're going on an adventure together, whether you book one of my published tours or want to have a bespoke tour. I can promise you one thing: it will be informative, fun, and you will really get to see what you want—and often more than you expect. Just check out the reviews; they will give you a good idea of how I like to run the days out. I lived in London for many years, and now I reside in Brighton, which is a fabulous seaside town near the capital. I know all the hidden gems in London and all along the south coast of England, which I would love to share with you. Whether it's history, shopping, nightlife, or pretty much anything else, I will be able to show you exactly what you need. I have also designed some multi-day tours; this is the best way to fit in a true local experience, and you see so much more than you would on a day trip because we have less travel between places. We stay in different places on our adventure so you get to see them once the tourists go home (Ironic, I know, ha ha). Sussex is also a beautiful part of the country; we have a national park on the outskirts (the Downs) which is amazing for walks. We also have many other towns around us that are worth visiting. For example, we have Lewes, which is a 15-minute drive away and hosts probably the most amazing fireworks display in the country on the 5th of November. I can also work as your chauffeur. This means our journey can start right from when you land. We can’t say enough nice things about James! He was very knowledgeable and was able to change the game plan quickly when needed! We had an absolutely fantastic full-day tour of London that exceeded all expectations! From start to finish, the day was packed with history, charm, and unforgettable sights. We began with a visit to the Tower of London, where James’s storytelling truly made the history come alive. He shared fascinating tales of royalty, intrigue, and the infamous ravens that gave the place a whole new level of meaning. Next was a scenic boat ride on the Thames, offering beautiful views of London’s skyline and iconic landmarks from a totally different perspective. The afternoon walking tour was a real highlight — James took us through historic neighborhoods, hidden alleyways each stop had a story, and each pint came with a bit of laughter and insight into London’s past.James was knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly passionate about the city — it made all the difference.

An amazing day touring with James through London. Picked up, whisked off right from our cruise ship, Dover to London. Hard to believe we fit so much in one amazing day, from seeing The Tower of London, including the Crown Jewels, To going the tour of Westminster Abbey;James knew every special history and artifact of interest to pay attention to…made it so exciting to actually tour the Abbey. Even with long lines at both of those sites we were able to fit in Saint Paul’s Cathedral and other focal points of London. Beyond his knowledge of London, and expertise in getting us there as quickly as possible, James was a pleasure to tour with. You will not be disappointed one minute touring either Dover, London or wherever James will take you. He is a professional, as well as diligent in trying to fit everything we wanted into one day with a big smile the entire day. Elaine M
