Hello everyone, l am Taha. I was born in the ancient city of Harran. It is located in Upper (northern) Mesopotamia and mentioned in the Old Testament (Torah). When we meet with you, we start first visiting Gobekli Tepe, considered "The Oldest Temple in the World, " has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. then visit one of the biggest and modern Archeology museum in Turkey. In the meantime you will learn about the history from Paleolithic and Neolithic age , Halaf Culture and Mesopotamian civilizations. After the Archeology museum we will visit The Pool of Prophet Abraham, This pool is believed to be the place where Prophet Abraham was thrown into the fire by Nimrod. Prophet Abraham is mentioned in three major religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Then We will walk through Cave of Prophet Abraham, He is believed to have been born in a cave in Urfa where he spent about seven years of his life as protection against the cruel King Nimrod who then ordered all newborn children killed upon learning of Abraham's coming birth and learn more about it. Taha gave us the greatest tour of Gobekle Tepe we could have imagined. The tours of Harran and Mt Nemrut were also great. He and his drivers were courteous, informative, and on time. I would recommend him for any tour in this region of Turkey.
My husband and I spent a glorious day on a private tour with Taha in the area of Sanliurfa. Our main goal was to visit the archeological sites at Gobekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe. How could we not come to experience the oldest archaeological sites in human history. Yes, those ones, the ones partially excavated in the 1990’s that turned archeological history on its head !! Carbon dated from 9500 BCE (that predates Stonehenge by 6000 years! ) And no one could have been more knowledgeable about the incredible discoveries here, than Taha Ozyavuz! And as a local for generations he knows every corner of this amazing historical area of the world. We also had a fantastic experience at the Archeological museum: This after Taha’s totally informative introduction. Taha is fluent in English, very understandable, a wonderful story teller and a kind man. On a scale of 1 to 10, we rank him as a 12.
Taha is a wonderful tour guide. He has deep historical knowledge of the various sites in eastern Turkey, and was logistically perfect, from airport transfers, lodging, restaurants, cultural events, a doctor and dentist visit and shopping in the bazaar. He is also easy going and fun to spend time with. We recommend him highly.

Taha was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about Gobeklitepe. We communicated via WhatsApp, so everything was very clear and organized. It was exactly what I was hoping for. I would strongly recommend Taha for anyone interested in this tour or any others that he does.
We spent 2 days with Taha exploring history. It was so amazing! Gobeklitepe was incredible. Taha shared so much interesting information about this ancient site as well as the ones in Harran and Sanliurfa. Taha is friendly, knowledgeable and his English is fairly easy to understand. I would highly recommend him as your tour guide.
