Hi, my name is Edip. I have been a professional tour guide for over 28 years now, and have been guiding all around Turkey with private groups. I am the first graduate of the 4-year guiding program of Turkey's National University, and since then I have lived in Cappadocia and guided in every part of the country. I am a professional licensed guide with the licence number of 50/00353 The Tursab number for my agency is 17991 Since I am practically a native to the region, I have specialized in Cappadocia based tours. I deliver high-end experiences with a personal touch and unique approach. My goal is to show people the real Cappadocia, which really is not the one not spoiled with mass tourism or social media. I enjoy perceiving the happiness of my guests when they taste our authentic food, when they meet and get involved in the life of the real. That is what I describe as "Experiencing" the most of travelling. But beyond my tours, I can also be helpful to you booking all land services in Cappadocia and all around Turkey, since through the years I have become acquainted with many great professionals who love their jobs and do it with passion. I would love to meet and guide you and greet you back to your home with lovely memories and experiences from Cappadocia. Hope to meet soon!

Cappadocia is one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world, which in reality actually looks far better than its pictures, trust me! On this tour, we'd go on a journey into the past by visiting one of the earliest inhabited and latest abandoned monastic settlements in Cappadocia! In addition to this, we'd see artworks that would be found in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings dating from as early as the 10th century. I have actually personally guided the Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church not once, not twice but three times in Cappadocia! Moreover, I have plenty of information about the Early Christian History & Art in Cappadocia that I'd love to share with you. One of the most fun parts of the tour will be getting our hands wet at a local pottery workhop where people have been making the art of pottery over 6000 years. Let's explore Cappadocia’s almost Martian landscape together!
·We'll first meet at the reception of your hotel and start the day heading to Cappadocia's Devrent Valley, where the rock formations are amazing! ·Next, we'll walk through the Zelve Open Air Museum with its troglodyte houses. ·After Zelve, we'll visit Pasabag’s “fairy chimneys”, where the voice of the wind harmonizes with the songs of the fairies. ·From here we'll pause at Avanos, a centre of terracotta art since 2,000 BC, for a demonstration in a traditional pottery workshop and a delicious lunch if you're hungry. ·Afterwards, we'd visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia. ·We'll complete the tour with a visit to Ortahisar.
