This is the most practical way to take the most of Granada and the Alhambra if you are not going to stay the night in the city. A professional driver will meet you and pick you up at the port, taking you to Granada through a wonderful andalusian landscape. We are going to see the amazing constructions built without using really pricey materials but the outstanding techniques of the master builders. Of course we will time travel once we get into the Generalife gardens, still able to show you medieval remains of them and amazing views along with their fragrance. Once in the city, will see the area that still looks like the old maze that once was, the Albaicín, the old muslim quarter with a lot of history to share and wonderful viewpoints.
Nono was a great guide. He has an incredible amount of knowledge about the history of Spain and the Alhambra. The way he explained it was so interesting and not like listening to your high school history teacher. We wandered at a leisurely pace and really enjoyed our day with him. He sent sent a car and a driver to pick us up and take us back to the cruise terminal which was excellent.
Juan was an exceptionally wonderful tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind. We had the most perfect day- he did a great job with helping plan the itinerary and provided us with an informative, enjoyable day. 10/10 recommend him as a tour guide, it was our favorite excursion on our entire trip.
This was one of the best tours we have ever taken. Juan Antonio was fun, very knowledgeable-and we had a spectacular time. He also gave us great lunch recommendations for both Granada and a later trip we took Cordoba. We highly recommend this tour with Juan Antonio!

- By your ship arrival, the driver will be waiting for you and take you to Granada (50-60 minutes) - I will meet you at the Alhambra and there will do a tour showing you the whole monument, including Nasrid Palaces, Generalife gardens, Alcazaba (castle) and Charles V Palace. - Lunch break (I can give you some tasty recommendations). - Albaicín tour (old moorish quarter) - San Nicholas viewpoint - Transfer back to Motril.
