I develop my job as a private licensed tour guide in Valencia, Alicante and Cartagena this marvellous piece of land bathed by the sun, watered by palm trees and full of history. This city on the Mediterranean coastline, with 335, 000 inhabitants. It is the capital of the Alicante's province. The Bonfires of San Juan are its most important festivities year after year are celebrated in the month of June. We will start with a panoramic tour where we will see different intresting buildings such as: the bullring, the central market or the Stars square. After that, In the Benacantil mountain, we will find Santa Barbara Castle, this spectacular building 166m above the sea level, with a huge strategic value because you can control all the Alicante's bay. Second of all we will discover the typical Mediterranean neighborhood of Santa Cruz: peaceful, colourful and full of life. In this walking portion of the tour we will find the co-cathedral, built on the remains of a mosque. The town hall administrative building in baroque style and the Carbonell House: residential palace from 1924, in modernist style. ** All my tours are customizable, please if you are a bigger group ask me!!
Our tour of Alicante with Jorge was great! He is very knowledgeable about Alicante and Spain including the history. The visit to Santa Barbara castle was the highlight. But we also enjoyed the city car tour and the central walking tour. Thanks Jorge!

A lovely tour. We saw things we would never have found on our own, including a fascinating museum of sculptures designed for burning at their festivals. He adapted the tour perfectly for my mobility needs. Highly recommended guide.
What a great tour of Alicante we had. Jorge was fantastic! Great personality, passion, and patience. He took us to the obvious "don't miss places" but also some others including a museum that I am sure most visitors miss. He has a great knowledge of local and Spanish history.
