Hi dear traveller!!! My name is Pedro David and I was born 36 years ago in one of the most beautiful lands of Europe: The South East of Spain. I love my hometown, Mazarrón, as well as the stunning cities around: Cartagena, Murcia, Alicante, Almería and Valencia. I have been always interested in the fabulous history of this wonderful piece of land, full of traditions and open minded people. The Region of Murcia, together with their neighbouring provinces of Almería, Alicante and Valencia are waiting for you to come and discover their jewels, monuments, natural places and hidden corners which are going back more than 3000 years to the very beginning of human existence in the area. People say I am a passionate guide who loves showing my homeland to others. Also as I am a native-guide I can offer all my experience (around 10 years) to make yours definitely unique and worthy. I am used to guiding different kinds of people, covering a wide range: families with children, retired people, disabled, teenagers, students, couples on their honeymoon, incentive groups, VIPs, pilgrims. . . Overview of your Alicante tour
This tour leads you to discover the highlights of this beautiful mediterranean city discovering some of its charming corners. Let's go to the highest point in the city to see an amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea with its bay and beaches. Also the history of Alicante will envolve our visit at the time you get to know some of its monuments such as the Town Hall Building, The Cathedral of Saint Nicolás or the oldest theater of the city. The main festivals of this marvellous city will take you to a different atmosphere as soon as you see the beautiful and colorful figures made of paper maché which are burned during the "Hogueras" (Bonfires). Also a natural spot is included in this tour to make you admire the unique centennial trees spread throughout the city. Finally we are goint to walk through the seafront promenade called "Explanada de España" where some free time for shopping or drinking something typical is a must.
Your Alicante tour itinerary
- I will be waiting for you inside the terminal of cruiseships to take the shuttle bus outside where our car/van will be waiting for us to make a panoramic drive around the old town and we will go up to the castle using our private car. - At Santa Barbara Castle you will learn about the past and present of Alicante. The views from there as just amazing, so get your camera ready for this moment. - From there we will move to the downtown and walking we are going to see the seafront promenade and its luxurious boats there at the port. After that we are going to continue exploring through the charming streets of the downtown in order to discover the town hall building, the cathedral of San Nicolas and the Museum of Bonfires. - Some free time will be given if needed and we will walk to the shuttle bus stop (10 min walking) to go back to the terminal of cruiseships. *If you have a specific itinerary in mind send me a message and I'll customize the tour for you.
