Welcome to the Garden Route of South Africa. I am a 100% South African, a country that I love to travel throughout, sharing the wonders of the country with tourists. It is my passion to communicate with people from all over the world. My passion is for wildlife, fauna and flora. My home area is that of magnificent coastal regions, inland to Afromontane forests and beyond the great Outeniqua mountains into the Karoo which I love to explore over and over. Experiencing the wild animals and birds out in nature in the reserves and interacting with the likes of elephant, ostrich and other creatures gives me great delight. I have a good knowledge of wildlife, birding, flora and fauna. I enjoy taking people to venues that offer tourists some good local experiences and activities, craft and good food off course!! Outdoor activities such as canoeing, paragliding, forest walks and more are always a delight. Kruger National Park is yet another region that I love to share during the months of May through to September. Kruger is one of the greatest game reserves in the world, home of the "Big 5", a place of beauty from sun rise to sun set, host to many animals, birds and reptiles. I am most proud to live in this beautiful region and would love to take you on a tour. Explore the Garden Route some of South Africa's best scenery from George and Wilderness to Plettenberg Bay. Savouring wonderful scenery, the coast on your right and inland lakes and mountain region on your left. Spend time strolling in the forest, in the cool morning air, followed by feeding an elephant, is just the start to your day, an experience not to be missed. Destination Plettenberg Bay, a delightful venue to spend a day of therapy for the soul, food and shop at the finest crafter outlets, may it be , ceramics, finest woven, art and more, take your pick! Last but not least, your choice how about a local gin or wine tasting. Let us know which tickles your pallet. Recommend walking shoes, hat, light jacket and camera to capture a special day.
Early start - all aboard, we travel east of George through beautiful Wilderness, exploring the Garden Route to Plettenberg Bay, offering wonderful scenery along the Indian Ocean coast, and inland lakes with the Outeniqua mountain range as backdrop. First stop Garden of Eden to stretch the legs, we take an easy walk in the forests to view the "giant" national tree. Next up time for fun with the wonderful 'largest land creature' the Elephant at Knysna Elephant Sanctuary, this is a delight. Lunch time and some 'shopping therapy' at Old Nicks at Plettenberg Bay, a delightful venue. Old Nick's, offers a special selection of different crafts, offering something special to take home, may it be jewelry, home decor, woven items and more. Lastly let us know whether you prefer gin or wine, we shall arrange a tasting of 'something local' to please the pallet before heading off back to your hotel.
