Overview of your Belgrade tour
Kopaonik is a beauty of the Serbian mountains in 2017 meters high, known for its vineyards on its slopes, and when winter comes, fantastic skiing grounds. This mountain pearl hides many secrets in its forests and slopes. At the very top of Kopaonik is an old Roman church that was turned into a beautiful monastery in the Middle Ages, but legend has it that it itself disappeared or rose into the sky. On the other side of Kopaonik there are mines from the age of Celts and Romans that can still be accessed but also a beautiful geyser of 10 meters in height. Hidden deep in the forest are granite rocks of enormous size, and legend has it that giant Marko laid stones so he could sit and rest. At 1500 meters there is a lake with floating islands and no one knows how deep it is, according to legend that the villas are swimming here. All of this you can experience and enjoy in the beauty of the Serbian queen of the mountains. You can taste a beautiful traditional food and drink blueberry brandy.
Your Belgrade tour itinerary
·First day· -Start at 4 pm from Belgrade city and reach the hotel at Kopaonik at about 9 pm. -Arrive in time for dinner and rest for the next day. ·Second day· -Wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, start the second day of this tour Visit the Metođa springs, other nature attractions including a beautiful forest here at 1, 514 m altitude. -After lunch, see the huge granite rocks at Markov Kamen (Markov's rock) and enjoy a splendid sunset amidst mountain ranges here. -Return to the hotel for dinner and rest. ·Third day· -After breakfast, go to the top of Mount Kopaonik, but it is on the other side of the peak where we will visit an old archaeology place - an old church from the 5th century " Crkvine". -After taking a couple of photos and a little break, go for lunch. -Start our trip to Studenica and Žiča Monastery and the valley of Kings, if we have time we will visit the old castle Magic. -Return back to Belgrade at 9 pm. -Feel free to contact me if you would like to customize this tour!
