Be ready to explore one of the most spectacular landscapes in Apuseni Mountains! Scărița Belioara is considered to be the pearl of the Carpathians and this name comes with a good reason: the green soft hills create a perfect mix with the agressive vertical limestone walls. Last but not least, the old wodden cottages gives us a very authentic and pictoresque vibe, and the flowers will please even the most demanding of botanists.
Muntele Mare (Big Mountain massif, part of Apuseni mountain range) Highlights:: - botanical and geological nature reserve - considered the Pearl of Apuseni Mountains - Arieș valley and it's beauty - amazing landscapes and traditional arhitecture Difficulty: Medium (Red) - (7 - 7. 5 h hiking 700 meters elevation) Recommended gear: Hiking boots/rain coat/small backpack/hiking poles (optional)/water bootle/food for the trail/headtorch.
