Hi and welcome to my Toursbylocals profile, the starting point for your hiking tours on Transylvanian trails! I'm Marius, a Tourism Agency Founder and Director, International Mountain Leader (UIMLA), IML instructor and vice-president of SGLM (Romanian mountain leader association) with over 10 years of experience in guiding and organizing trips in Romania and also worldwide. I have guided more than 2000 clients from over 35 countries, in several days hiking tours, backpaking tours across the Carpathians but also through Europe and Nepal. Professionalism, responsability, true competence and love for nature are my main values which guide me in my life and also in my work. I graduated Philosophy at Babeș Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca and as we speak I am following a Master Degree in Psychology, with focus on Eco-Therapy and the effects that nature has on our wellbeing.
