I was lucky to be born within a natural mountain area. Near Apuseni Natural Park. My idea is to share this special, unique landscape with entire world:) I work as engineer in Cluj-Napoca but all my weekends, specially in the summer I'm out in the nature. This tour (my first one) is one very special as it shows cave, gorges, points of view, valleys, karst lake. And I made this tour every summer, for more than 10 years now, together with my friends and family. Padis area where the tour is located is the most spectacular from this natural park. There live friendly people, willing to story local histories, willing to share their culture, their simply way of life. I'm happy to be Padis's pioneer for all people who love mountains, hiking and pure nature.

Reach Vladeasa Peak (1835 m) on a full day trip, from Cluj Napoca
Overview of your Cluj Napoca tour
Vlădeasa Peak is the second highest peak in the Apuseni Mountains. The Vlădeasa massif has the form of a horseshoe a W, having the opening orientated towards north. The average height of the heights from the ridge area is 1 600m. This trail is the most accessible for one day hiking if you travel in Cluj area. Access: from Cluj-Napoca(70 km) or Oradea(100 km), on the European road E60 to Rogojel Village. In this area there are many authentic wooden houses and the Romanian traditional customs are still kept. Hiking from the village Rogojel we will take the first stop to the Vlădeasa Chalet(1430m altitude) for hidratation with a hot tea :) Vlădeasa, with its height of 1835m, is the second peak as altitude of the Apuseni Mountains. Together with Vladeasa Peak there are Rachitele Fall and White Stones that worth the effort to be seen, adding 4 hours to the tour.
Your Cluj Napoca tour itinerary
Tour will start from Rogojel village (coming from Cluj or Oradea) then hiking for about 2 hours to Vladeasa chalet. After one short break, we will continue the hiking to Vladeasa Peak for another 2 hours. The way back (descending) will be shorter, about 3 hours to arrive to Rogojel village where the car will be parked.
