Welcome to Portugal! I am an australian-born Portuguese living in Lisbon since I was 8 years old. The portuguese landscape, history, food, traditions and warm personality have won me over and I hope to share all this with you! Would you like to get to know the highlights of Sintra and Cascais? This tour is perfect for a time-efficient visit, with the best of the best! Sintra in a beautiful mountain range where the royals used to spend the hunting season. Lush, green gardens and beautiful palaces. On this tour I suggest visiting the Pena Palace, a 19th century gem of Revivalist architecture. In case you would like to swap to another palace this can be customized! After the visit we will stop at the historical center of Sintra, where we can taste traditional pastries. Leaving Sintra we will drive by beautiful sandy beaches of Guincho and arrive in Cascais. Cascais in know to be the Portuguese Riviera, with a glamorous houses contrasting with humble fishing boats in the bay. Scenic driver back to Lisboa.

Cristina has given us an interesting tour to Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais. She is extremely knowledgeable in history, architecture and it was a pleasure to have her with us. We again had a short break with delicious portuguese pastries - and later a memorable lunch at an excellent seafood restaurant almost on the beach with very good views. We had an exceptional good time and absolutely recommend her as a guide.
Cristina is an amazing, knowledgeable, patient, fun guide. We had her for 3 days and loved our time with her. She shared about Lisbon's history, took us all over Peña palace and St Jerome monastery. Can't say enough great things about her. My whole family loved her!
