Hello travelers! My name is Jesus, and I grew up in Puerto Maldonado, in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. Since childhood, the rainforest has been my home and my greatest source of learning. While my parents worked in the jungle, I explored every corner, fascinated by the surrounding wildlife. I learned to recognize bird songs, interpret the sounds of the forest, and understand the delicate balance of this ecosystem. Even today, I feel the same excitement every time I enter the jungle, and my passion is sharing that connection with those who visit us. Since 2003, I have worked as a guide specializing in ecotourism, birdwatching, and wildlife photography expeditions. In 2015, I became an independent guide and experience creator, designing my own routes to provide a more authentic connection with nature. I am a Certified Tour Guide with an official license since 2015 and a member of the Madre de Dios Guide Association. I speak fluent English, can converse in French, and understand Portuguese, allowing me to connect with travellers from all over the world and share my knowledge in different languages. My tours in the Tambopata National Reserve offer unique experiences in one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. What sets my expeditions apart is that I work with small groups and at less crowded times, ensuring a more intimate atmosphere and better wildlife observation opportunities. I also have my own boat, which allows me to take travellers to lesser-explored areas where nature remains in its purest state. I also offer night explorations to observe caimans, fluorescent frogs, and other creatures that come to life in the darkness of the rainforest.
