Hello, I'm Roderick, your new Panamanian friend. I'm a reliable, professional, and knowledgeable guide who is incredibly passionate about tourism and meeting new people. One of my favorite places in Panama is my home where my family is, the centre of my life and my driving force. Besides that, I love the Panama Canal for its engineering prowess, the old town for its history, and Gamboa for its nature. These 3 are actually the country's most visited places! A bit more about me: my favourite hobbies are watching documentaries about animals, countries and all sorts of different places. I also enjoy reading tourism books and travelling with my family. I discovered that I liked tourism during my experience as a security aid working on cruise ships, which made me see that my true passion was tourism itself. I was always inclined to ensure that tourists' experience was the best possible! Over the past eight years, I have been conducting tours in Panama and I am very excited to show you the most important places in this nation. From its history, culture, and wildlife to its nature, I will ensure you have a great time while providing exciting and fun facts that make Panama unique. You can book now, and let's discover Panama together!

If you're keen on immersing yourself in the captivating culture of the Spanish colonial era in Portobelo, then this tour is an excellent choice for you. Portobelo was once the trading hub of the Americas and was a melting pot of Caribbean and African cultures. During this visit, I will share my experiences, traditions, and culture as a fourth-generation descendant of Barbadians, giving you a special and unique insight into Caribbean culture in Panama. In addition to the historical landmarks, which include a museum and a waterside guest house, you'll also explore a tropical paradise that boasts stunning beaches and mangroves. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming and relaxing. This tour is the perfect way to spend a day away from the city and bask in the tranquil beauty of the Caribbean paradise.
·After getting together in a convened spot, we will get in our car and head to Portobelo. ·Our first stop will be centuries old Saint Jerónimo Fortress. ·Then, we'll go to Casa Congo, a beautiful place filled with art and history showcasing Portobelo's rich African and colonial-Spanish legacy. ·Following that, we will visit the Royal Customs House Museum of Portobelo, a captivating historical landmark providing insight into the town's thriving maritime history. ·The second half of our tour will begin with a scenic boat ride through Venas Azules, a pristine paradise nestled in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. ·This will be followed by a visit to Blanca Beach, where you'll be able to swim in the clear and calm waters plus savour the delicious flavours of our Caribbean cuisine. ·Finally, we'll drive you back to your lodging to conclude the tour.
