Most importantly, Gerald takes great pride in his amazing country. He met us inches beyond the border, waving with a smile. I was impressed immediately by his perfect English. Then his affable nature showed through. Gerald helped us design a tour that suited our interests and was flexible throughout the day. He gave us great insights into the history, culture, geography, flora and fauna. His knowledge is vast, and made good on his promise to quiz us at the end of the tour!!!!! Frankly, we were very anxious about Nicaragua, based upon what we've heard for decades in the US. Gerald made us feel comfortable from the beginning and we discovered an amazing, safe, clean, organized country, rich in history and nature. We are planning our return.

Gerald was amazing, his tour was extensive, we saw so much. We made so many people from the cruise ship jealous after relating all we saw in the day tour. We especially enjoyed seeing the work Gerald is doing to help animals at his property. Gerald timed everything so well, less crowds and his "extras" like the view from the tower in Granada was a highlight. Our family highly recommends his Tour.

Gerald is a fantastic guide. He is very organized and incredibly knowledgeable. In addition, he is generous and gives his clients the best that Nicaragua has to offer. His English is great, he hires good drivers, and he knows how to avoid crowds (which is impressive when cruise ships are in port). I highly recommend him.

Que grata sorpresa descubrir la belleza de este País! Gerald estuvo a tiempo por nosotros en un vehículo en buen estado. Los puntos que recorrimos fueron muy lindos, empezando por las vistas del volcán Concepción hasta ver de cerca El cráter Santiago y poder ver la lava!!! Fue impresionante! Granada es un pueblo pintoresco y el lago Nicaragua muy lindo. Comimos delicioso a orilla del lago! Lo único que podría decir es que llegamos súper justos para tomar el tender de regreso al crucero... pero lo logramos

Gerald D. provided a fabulous, outstanding tour...best tour guide I ever had. Gerald is a great story teller with a terrific sense of humor. Included details of Nicaragua's fascinating history starting in 1600's. He told fun, cultural/ folklore stories of small villages. Visited unique, ecological developing location no tour bus would visit. Fun stop. Visit to active volcano was neat...told history. Great boat ride and lunch in beautful setting. HIghly recommend Gerald as a great tour guide. AAA+
