First of all. . . thanks for checking in! I'm going to keep this short. My name is Ye Htun. You can call me " Htun(Tom)" I am very glad YOU know that nothing is better than exploring the country through the eyes of locals. That is why, I am here for you, your tour guide from Myanmar. Here is a quick version of my experience. * 7+ years in the tourism industry (In progress) * 2+ years in project management (In progress) * 2 years in the hospitality industry * * 2 years teaching English Looking back, I started out my career teaching English as I love sharing. Then, I moved into the hospitality industry as a receptionist. I got a chance to meet travelers and got opportunity exchange knowledge. And I quickly discovered that I love meeting people. I love the travel experiences that my much-loved home city of Yangon and its surrounds had to offer. I love the food and beers, adventure, and the outdoors. I craved a career that was exciting, something that gave me a chance to get out of bed every morning and do something I loved. And I finally was ready for a new challenge. Eventually, I jumped into the tours and activity industry. I became a nationally licensed tour guide, and outbound tour leader for foreign trips. I would love to observe the ways of life of tribes, cultures, and history. I am an honest, caring, friendly man, an energetic person, an enthusiastic young man, and of course a man of humor. I am proud to be a global citizen and love to explore everything. My hobbies are taking photos, telling stories, traveling, reading, exchanging knowledge, and meeting strangers. As a professional tour guide, I offer walking tours, trishaw tours, half & full-day tours, and multi-day tours(Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Inle, and so on) at reasonable prices based on my hometown Yangon. I definitely know everyone has a unique traveling style and particular interests, different ideas to create a fabulous trip. I really value the uniqueness of your own. That is why, I would be very happy to take the opportunity to create and design customized tours or tailor-made tours depending on your preferences, schedule, budgets, and requirements. My arranged tour programs are a simple suggestion and can be quite flexible to redesign and customize for you. I would also be very glad to take you to stunning places which are uncharted with the "wow" factor after you have enough highlighted sights of Myanmar. Also, my very highest aim is to deliver professional service, follow all guidelines of responsible tourism, and create unique adventure and culture tours to give unforgettable memories to my clients. That is why I am very much looking forward to welcoming you to one of my unique tours. Overview of your Yangon tour

Yangon is known as Rangoon. It has a personality that is unique, incredible, rich histories, a melting pot of cultures, and used to be main seaport of Myanmar in the colonial period. Yangon sits under the shadow of the most holiest Shwedagon Pagoda. Yangon has retained much of its architectural history of beautiful colonial buildings in the downtown area, including Shwedagon pagoda and tons of monasteries, city's numerous lush tropical gardens and stunning lakes for great recreation, bustling markets and much more! Yangon used to be the Capital of Myanmar though it turned into a commercial city now. Although the city has seen a lot of development in recent years, it is still retaining an innocence that so many other Asian cities has lost. You can walk around at any time of the day or night anywhere in the city and still assure to get the sense of feeling safe. You have a lot to enjoy and explore to get a taste of Yangon such as attractions, foods and much more!

Your Yangon tour itinerary

You'll begin your culinary holiday in Myanmar with a local teashop around Shwedagon Pagoda by taxi. We sample Monhingha and tea. We'll observe the daily life of monk after wandering around Market where you will have a chance to try local glutinious rice with sesame. We'll walk up to the Shwedagon Pagoda. Find time to have a fun conversation with astrologer at the pagoda and learn buddhism at the pagoda. By then, we walk down to the park and transfer you to shan noodle shop for lunch. Enjoy the shan noodles there. Afterwards, time to stretch our legs to explore colonial buildings areas in downtown. We'll then move to local restaurant on foot and try indian influenced snacks. After filling up on these scrumptious snacks, we'll hop on the trishaw for one final stop, Chinatown. We'll take a route through the lively night market, then head to 19th street, which is renowned for its barbecue stalls. We enjoy the Myanmar beer and barbecue before we transfer you back by taxi.
