Inle lake is one of the most beautiful places in Myanmar, located in Shan state with altitude of 3000 feet above the sea level. UNESCO recognized it as Bio-sphere reserved of the world in Paris in 2015 to preserve the natural and cultural diversity of the lake areas. Inle people are unique because they row the boat with legs and they cultivate fruits and vegetables in the wetland on the water. The weather in the lake is nice for the passengers and you can experience unforgettable memories in your life time, visiting the lake in Myanmar also known as Burma. Burmese are the happiest people in the world, an American vice president said , when he visited Burma. Even though Inle people live on the water, they are happy and satisfied with their ways of life and they believe in Buddhism firmly erecting many Buddha images and pagodas.
Day 1 I will pick you up at the airport and transfer to Nyaunshwe by car (1 hrs). Nyaungshwe is a small town near Inle lake. However, it was the capital of Shan chieftain. On the way to Nyaungshwe, stop for seeing oval-shaped monastery Visit Inle lake by boat. Visit the boat making workshop and blacksmith workshop. Continue to a weaving factory to see making clothes from lotus flowers. Proceed to the umbrella making workship to see Padaung ethnic tribe and proceed to silverware making workshop. Overnight in Inle lake. Day 2 Visit the local market in Inle area and proceed to Phaungdaw you pagoda. This is one of the famous pagodas in the lake. Proceed to Indein pagodas where you can see hundreds of pagodas in the same compound. Continue to the jumping cat monastery to see the monastic life in the lake and see vegetation on the water. Overnight in Inle lake.
