City Tour of Maputo

Come and explore the largest city in the country: "el dourado" of all Mozambicans. Possessing different corners and recants, it has varied contrasts that can be observed in the various urban and suburban areas that make up the city. I was born and raised in this city! that's why I will take you to the most popular places as well as the unknown hidden areas of it. The tour starts in downtown, which is the heart of the city where we will have the opportunity to observe and photograph the various historical and cultural sites. Then we will get to know and discover the urban surroundings of the city and get to know, observe and interact with the suburban surroundings of the city as well as discover the different realities. We will circulate through the various arteries that make up the city and feel the cosmopolitan atmosphere of the city where during the tour tourists are free to question or contribute in order to have a perfect and pleasant climate with the view to enjoy the tour to the fullest.

The tour Itinerary will be the following: 1. Workers' Square - located in front of the Railway Station. It is a tribute to the Portuguese and Mozambicans who died in the First World War World; 2. Fortress - Is a national monument related to the history of the Portuguese presence in Mozambique and to the relations and resistance offered by the habitants of the lands on the banks of the bay; 3. Natural History Museum - Guarded by the Eduardo Mondlane University, the museum displays several embalmed animals: mammals, birds, insects and reptiles; 4. The Santo António da Polana church is also an emblematic building, modern in style, in the shape of an inverted flower. It was built in 1962 and the architect was Nuno Craveiro Lopes; 5. Xiquelene Market - It is a market where you can find a little bit of everything for general use like are several types of clothing, industrialized and fresh food products.
