Hello, my name is Asmaa, a licensed and enthusiastic tour guide and one of the few female guides in Morocco. On top of that, I am working with a local Non-Government Organization called Rabat Sale Memoir; my role is to educate teenagers about the importance of their tangible and intangible heritage. I consider myself an outgoing person; I am always looking forward to connecting with people from different cultures. My most important goal is to make you fall in love with my charming city of Rabat and my beautiful country Morocco by explaining its rich history and diverse cultures as well as showing you it most interesting monuments and fascinating architecture. Overview of your Rabat tour
I love Rabat, I came to this beautiful city in 2009 and since then I still visualize it from a tourist's eye, I never take it for granted. I believe there are many thing to explore at every corner. On this tour, we will visit the main see sights of the city, from architectural landmarks, to panoramic views, to a local market, I will make sure you have a historical and cultural immersion during your visit. The time of the tour is rather flexible! Rabat which was listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 2012. I will tell you the history behind it, as well as the stories of the places we will visit . As we walk around the city, I'll help you discover it from the perspective of someone who's been a local for over a decade.

Asmaa was a perfect guide for a tour of Rabat. She has huge knowledge of the city/country both historical and its place in the current international scene. Asmaa MADE Rabat! Asmaa was wonderful from the beginning! There was horrendous traffic leaving Casablanca and she accommodated us with no problem. Your Rabat tour itinerary
●After meeting in Rabat Ville train station, we'll head towards St Peter's Cathedral. ●Afterwards, we'll proceed to the Mausoleum of Mohammad. ●Next, we'll see the Hassan Tower. ●At this point of our tour, we'll be able to have a nice view of the neighbouring city of Salé, The Marina and the New Opera House building. ●Later, we'll walk along the marina of Rabat in the direction of the Kasbah of Loudaya. ●We'll visit the Andalusian Garden, after which we could take some time to stop in the Café of the Oudaya. Here, you'll have a great opportunity to ask me as many questions as you like about our daily life, culture and Moroccan traditions. ●Next stop will be the Kasbah of Oudaya. Visiting the Kasbah, we'll enjoy the view from its terrace that overlooks the Atlantic ocean and the Bouregreg river. ●Our last stop will be a visit to the old medina, where you'll have a glimpse of how the locals eat, shop and live. ●Our tour will end at the exit of the old medina which is 500 m away from the meeting point.
