Discover Merzouga in my multi-day private tour from Rissani

SALAM to you all! Welcome to the place where I was born. The desert means everything to me and it has a really special role in Moroccan people. The desert used to be my playground in my childhood. As an adult, I still come here every now and then to think and just find myself - the silence of the desert is overwhelming and humbling at the same time. It's the most amazing place ever, even though I moved to Rissani to complete my studies I've always come back to Merzouga to contemplate the landscape and meditate. The view of the sunset and sunrise here is simply breathtaking. The cultural side is a highlight as well: the local people in Merzouga live within their own traditions, different ethnic groups coexist in harmony. They all speak Arabic but they also have their own dialect. I'll show you how the colours and style of their clothing tell us which tribe they belong to. Day 1 -After meeting you in the bus station in Rissani, we will drive towards Merzouga -Break for a classic cup of mint tea (included!) -We will reach our camp by the foot of the Erg chebbi dunes -In the afternoon we will take a camel tour to watch the sunset on the Dunes of Erg chebbi -At night, we'll have dinner accompanied with Saharan drums. Day 2 Next morning after breakfast we will have a visit to Merzouga to see El khamlia where the local people play music -Then visit the Oasis & lake "Dayet Serji" -We continue to visit Rissani, an old center for the Saharan trade, including Kasbahs, the Mosulemof Moulay Ali charif "the founder of the Dynasty Alaouite", and the local market with its artisans. -After lunch break with the local food of the area, I will drop you off for the end of the tour
