We planned for 9 days in Morocco, and on a first time visit you either do an organized tour or have a full time guide. It's too complex to navigate on your own. A full-time guide may cost a little more, but I think it's worth it. I contacted Ahmed and gave him a rough outline of what we wanted to do and he built the entire itinerary: accommodation, food, local guides, and experiences like the desert camel trek. Everything ran smoothly, it was such a memorable trip. We were a group of 4 + Ahmed driving from Casablanca through the Atlas Mts to Marrakech, so we spent a lot of time with Ahmed. So it's a risk if you don't get on with your guide, but honestly our whole family loved Ahmed (also loved by most of Morocco apparently - greeted everywhere we went) He was so easy going, always with a smile and a joke. Highly recommend.

My name is Ahmed, and I'm a Berber native of the desert south east of Morocco. I was born and raised in a small village in the desert. My family were nomads, but when the oldest of my brothers reached school age, they decide to settle in that village for the reason of being in school. I started guiding tourists in my desert when I was a little boy and upon early adulthood, after my primary school finished, I moved to the nearest big town to continue my schooling. I got my baccalaureate degree and 2 years of Tourism Professional school to become a licensed guide. I'm Certificated as a tour guide by the Ouarzazate Tourism Institute for guides training. Ahmed is an excellent guide. He was responsive to my interests, and also knew what I would want to see in the areas we visited. The riad where he arranged my stay in Chefchaouen was wonderful. He was knowledgeable about Moroccan history, current events, geography, and culture. The transportation by car was terrific, both the vehicle itself and our driver. I very much enjoyed our 2 days touring and recommend him highly.

Drive to Chefchaouen, Lunch on the road, We will be in Chefchaouen by the early afternoon, It will be our stop for 1 night to enjoy your time in this peaceful and beautiful little blue town, Dinner and Overnight in Chefchaoun. - Day 2: Chefchaouen - Casablanca. Walking Exploration for Half Day in the famous Blue and White-washed city of Morocco which is located in the Rif mountains. Explore this picturesque small city's streets of the medina. Discover the main square known as Plaza Uta el- Hammam, the kasbah museum belonging to the early 18th century, the Grand Mosque.
