Casablanca Full Day Tour

Muhammad met us at the scheduled pick up location at the exact planned time of our arrival. We liked him from his first hello. He had a driver, so he was able to give us all of his attention. He was very open to anything we wanted to do that may have not been included in his tour information. We first went to the amazing Mosque and he gave us explicit information on exactly what we were supposed to do. We found out that he has a son that was a foreign exchange student that lived with a family in Tennessee during his time in the USA. That was such an interesting story. We had an awesome lunch at a very traditional Moroccan restaurant. He knew the servers and ordered delicious dishes for all of us. One highlight was getting us seats at the bar in Rick’s Cafe! They were completely booked when we arrived, but he was able to secure 4 seats for us! We never could have done that on our own. Since we were on a cruise, we had to wait at the end of our tour for the ship's shuttle bus at the pickup point. Mohammad stayed with us until we were securely on the bus and on our way back to the ship. The entire day was absolutely wonderful and one that we will never forget…and Muhammad was the reason because he made it so special for us!

We had a great walking day tour of Casablanca with Mohamed. The tour included use of a private vehicle which made getting around more time efficient. Highlights included visiting the Great Hassan II Mosque, residential areas, Medina, central city and Habous shops. The original port departure time was reduced by the cruise (from 9pm to 5pm), but we still were able to include many sights into our itinerary. Mohamed shared insights of life in Casablanca and cultural and religious practices. A very worthwhile tour.

We spent a wonderful day with Mohamed, who is an extremely considerate and kind person (most of the day was on foot and Mohamed insisted to help carry various of the souvenirs that we acquired during the day). We learned so much about Moroccan life and culture, and had a great conversation throughout the day. We particularly enjoyed Mohamed’s choice of restaurant and the tasty juice flight!

This was a wonderful tour of Casablanca. In a kind, pleasant and personable way Mohamed showed us all of the major sites in Casablanca. We had an in depth review of Casablanca's history, the mosque, the old town and an orthodox Jewish synagogues. Lunch at a local restaurant was the perfect time to exchange family stories and cultural similarities. If Mohamed is available, snatch the opportunity!

We have worked with many tourguides all over the world, and Mohamed was spectacular - good communication, easygoing, flexible, interesting, personable and well organized. He took us all over Casablanca very efficiently, and was easily able to incorporate our on-the-fly requests (to visit a spice vendor, get some authentic local cuisine, both street food and at a restaurant, etc.), and was extremely attentive. He thoughtfully arranged things to avoid the traffic and crowds attending a soccer match in the city. He knows the city, and is good people. You can't go wrong with Mohamed as your guide!
