I'm from Casablanca and I've spent most of my life in this city, besides I'm an active member of a few local NGOs that value local culture and heritage, and I'd be glad to discuss these issues with you! You will see the following sites: Great Hassan II Mosque, corniche, médina, Mohammed V Square and French-built part of the city center. I started doing this tour because I want you to live a unique cultural experience and to learn about the local habits, lifestyle, traditions, etc. What I love most about this experience is the amazing change of scenery! This tour is a great opportunity to visit Casablanca with a professional guide, you will not only see the main highlights but you will get all the information you need from a local! We'll use comfortable private transportation and transfers from and to the airport are included in the tour.
Mohammed was super flexible and knowleadgable. He picked us up early in the morning and took us to a brilliant breakfast joint where we filled our bellies. He knows a lot about Casablanca and could point out important monuments and buildings at every turn. We later took a swift walking tour around the medina and the zouk before heading to the Hassan II mosque. Sadly, we didn't have enough time to go inside but Mohammed would have been a great guide for that too.
On a recent visit to Casablanca, my husband and I had a wonderfully insightful and heartfelt tour of the city. It was our first visit to Morocco and unfortunately, was only a short layover. Our guide, Mohamed Rhanimi provided a very personal and educational tour of his beautiful city. His explanation of the city's history and the local culture was impeccable. From famous landmarks to local culinary fare, our day with him was perfect. Kudos to Mohamed for making our visit so remarkable. Highly recommended.
The tour with Mohammed was incredible, with short amount of time in Casablanca we were able to see pretty much everything of the important sites in the city. The logistic and transportation were impecable. Highly recommended!
Can't say enough good things about Mohamed! He was terrific! I had a long list of places i wanted to visit in Casablanca and he managed it perfectly. He communicated often and clearly beforehand to make sure we could do everything. I wanted to visit a place not normally open to tourists and he arranged it. His English is excellent. He was well informed and flexible. He quietly urged us to visit some places not on the list and he was right about them. The driver he arranged was also wonderful.
Mohamed was kind and welcoming. He brought snacks sent from his wife! He was flexible and adjusted the tour to what we wanted to see and what was important to us. He was very knowledgeable on history and background of the locations we saw. He gave us a good tour of the mosque. The pace was good for the time we had. We were super happy with our choice of Mohamed and he brought a great driver who was never more than a couple minutes away. We definitely felt safe in all areas & we highly recommend him
So happy I found Mohamed w Tours by Locals. He is very punctual, professional, nice, charismatic and very knowledgeable. We had an 8 hr. stopover in Casablanca so I arranged a private tour for 10. Mohamed met us outside the airport. We had a very nice and comfortable minibus with great a/c. We enjoyed our 6hr. tour. He arranged for us to go inside the Hassan II Mosque and it is beautiful inside and out. He also took us around the city and we had lunch at great local restaurant. Over all, Loved it!
