Step beyond the postcards and discover the hidden soul of Montenegro. This is a journey through forgotten villages, timeless traditions and stories known mostly to locals. After an optional fresh burek from a neighborhood bakery (typical Montenegrin style breakfast), we'll leave the main roads behind and travel deep into the Skadar Lake region, where medieval monasteries, spectacular viewpoints and the origins of the Montenegrin state come together. We'll explore a hidden fisherman's village untouched by mass tourism, visit the winter residence of Montenegro's legendary ruler Petar I Petrović Njegoš, and, if you wish, stop for an optional family-hosted lunch. If the kitchen isn't too busy and the chef feels inspired, we may even join in preparing our meal while discovering traditional recipes passed down through generations. We end our adventure inside the Ottoman-style Old Town of Bar, where cobbled streets, old houses, artisan shops and unforgettable local legends reveal yet another face of Montenegro.

• Meet at Bar Cruise Port and optional traditional breakfast with fresh local burek. • Scenic drive into the Skadar Lake region, discovering Montenegro's history, traditions and local way of life. • Visit the self-sustainable Brceli Monastery and hear its remarkable story. • Explore Rijeka Crnojevića, once the capital of Montenegro, with time to stroll through its peaceful streets and hear fascinating local legends. • Stop at Pavlova Strana, Montenegro's most iconic panoramic viewpoint overlooking Skadar Lake National Park. • Walk through the hidden fishing village of Karuč, among centuries-old stone houses, and visit the winter residence of legendary ruler Petar I Petrović Njegoš. • Optional family-hosted lunch, with the possibility of joining the chef in preparing part of the meal if the kitchen isn't too busy. • Guided walk through the Ottoman-style Old Town of Bar, local stories, artisan shops and a farewell at the cruise port.
