Unique Highlights of the Jewish half day tour of Chisinau

I always mention during my Chisinau Walking tours certain words and facts about the impact of the Jewish community had on Chisinau history and overall on Moldova. Little is known about Jewish history when in 1890 more than 45% of the Chisinau's population was Jewish. Then came the Chisinau Jewish Pogrom from 1903 that showed the world the hate some locals had over the Jewish population and then the hard times of WW2 when a Chisinau Ghetto of over 10, 000 Jewish people were formed. I do not pretend to be The Expert on the matter of Jewish history but during my time I had tourists with Bessarabian roots that discovered Moldova and Chisinau together with me, that is why this tour will introduce you to all the issues Jewish people had to face throughout time just because they were Jewish, and, nothing more.
