One Day Tour to Curchi Monastery, Orheiul Vechi Region and Cricova Winery
Overview of your Chisinau tour
In the morning, we will visit Moldova's most beautiful jewel - Curchi Monastery, which revives the spirituality of the Orthodox people. Here we will discover the religious side of Moldova, which has 95% of the population Christian Orthodox. Later, we will visit Butuceni - a charming village that preserves traditions of wine-making, farming and agriculture, we will enter some typical houses and their cellars. Millions years ago, this was the territory of the Sarmatian Sea and the limestone hills form an incredible landscape with many caves. We will visit one of the cave monasteries and will meet a monk who dedicated his life to this place. Lunch in one of traditional guesthouses in the region of Old Orhei (OPTIONAL). The afternoon is for WINE! We will visit Cricova Winery - a fascinating underground world full of wine. Here we will meet passionate and hard-working people and will enjoy a winery tour and tasting.
