This is a place of special proud for me since my grandfather used to work at Cricova cellars from its modern foundation. Now his grandson (me!) proudly show this place to the overseas guests. Not only showing but also telling the story of how he used to "improve" his health during worktime. If you think by drinking. . . you are wrong! Join me on this tour and find out a hilarious story that you will never forget. Cricova cellars are one of the largest wine cellar in the world. It boasts a mere 200 km of labyrinthine roadways and tunnels, which have existed under Cricova since the 15th century, when limestone was dug out to help build the city of Chisinau. There is no other place like this.
