Teotihuacan: The City of the Gods

Carlo was very attentive and quite knowledgeable. He was very flexible to our needs and gave us good recommendations for Mexico City beyond the scope of our tour. We would highly recommend him.

Carlo is terrific! He has lived his entire life in Mexico City so he knows the history and has so much information to share. His English is excellent, he tailored the day specifically to our interests, and was very accommodating. Just an all around nice young man to spend the day with.

We had been looking forward our tour to the Teotihuacan pyramids, as we had already gotten to know Carlo after our tour of the Historic Center. And we were not disappointed! We had a fantastic day, spending ample time exploring Teotihuacan pyramids and learning about its rich history. Carlo also recommended an authentic Mexican restaurant nearby for lunch, which was a great addition to the day. Throughout the tour, Carlo was incredibly engaging and enthusiastic, answering our questions and genuinely interested in making our experience memorable. I highly recommend Carlo as a tour guide for this tour.

This is my 2nd time taking this tour with Carlos; this time with my adult children. Can’t say enough good things. Communication was prompt, the tour and the knowledge that he provides is so insightful. He is such a pleasant person to be around and took care of everything and even customized to our needs. The day was beautiful and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring the sights.

I really enjoyed my time at Teotihuacan with Carlo. He knew the site very well and had many interesting anecdotes to share, plus was great at suggesting excellent spots for grabbing photos and navigating around efficiently without feeling tired. He also made an excellent recommendation for lunch that was a nice break during the day. Had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Carlo.

Carlo was very knowledgeable about the language, culture and history of the people who lived amongst these pyramids after the unknown pre-Columbian people built them. Worth the trip to appreciate the architectural integrity of this entire area and how it changed over time. Price includes all tickets and tolls. Wear a hat/sunscreen and bring water (we toured in February but the sun can be intense).
