Hi! My name is Enrique Ortiz , a passionate about Mexico's history and culture. Thanks to the more than 200 tours I have guided, I am a faithful witness of the deep love and respect for Mexico reflected by my visitors and followers, who feel tempted to know more about my country's history and to come back again. In 2018, I was certified as a FEDERAL TOURIST GUIDE studying at the National Polytechnic Institute Tourism School where I graduated with honors as I achieved the second highest performance of my class. Learn and have fun at the same time while we visit two of the most important places in Mexico City: the ancient house the Huitzilopochtli and Tlaloc, Templo Mayor, and the most important catholic temple of Latinamerica, la Catedral Metropolitana. Enjoy this walking and museum tour admiring both, colonial and prehispanic art, while you travel through Mexico's history, during the apogee of the aztec civilization, the hispanic conquest, and Virreinato. We'll also visit a basement to find the archeological remains of the Calmecac, the collegue for the aztec nobles! Tenochtitlan is still there, beneath the modern city! This tour was wonderful because of our guide. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be with. He ate lunch with us which turned out to be a wonderful experience with good food and conversation. I would recommend Enrique to all who want a wonderful history of Mexico.

This was the house of the god of war Huitzilopochtli and the god of the rain, Tlaloc. - Inside the museum, we will see the 2 huge sculptures of the mexicas, the goddess Coyolxauhqui and Tlaltecuhtli. - Catedral Metropolitana and the Kings Altar - The ancient school of the mexicas, sunken in a basement of a XVIII colonial building - Templo the Nuestra Señora del Pilar, a beautiful church whose interior hasnt changed in more than 200 years
