Hello dear traveler! I'm Anel, I was born in Mexico City, and I'm proud to be of Zapotec descent. Since I was a child, I enjoyed imagining what life in our country used to be like, wondering about the mentality of the ancient inhabitants and of their cultures. I even used to play recreating the great battles that marked our history and destiny. Growing up, life took me on parallel paths, as I graduated in Business with a specialty in Marketing. However, 8 years ago after a bit of an existential crisis, I rediscovered my childhood dream that never truly left me, and decided to become certified as a Tour Guide at the Escuela Superior de Turismo, and in 2020, I boarded a cruise ship to have an international tourism experience as well. Recently, I specialized in inclusive Tourism for people with limited vision and blindness. This led me to discover a new dimension of this beautiful profession by obtaining my International Certification with the National Association for Interpretation (NAI), raising my concept of Tourism to a higher purpose, which is to reflect on the conservation and protection of our cultural and natural heritage. I have just accumulated 7 full years of experience, 7 years since I left the business world to live my dream: sharing my love for my city's most emblematic places with travelers who, like you, like to appreciate architecture, culture, traditions, art, and gastronomy! If you have planned a travel itinerary to visit some of the world's most historically and culturally rich sites, multi-recognized by UNESCO, I'll gladly welcome you to México! My country ranks as the fifth worldwide travel destination and the first one on the American continent! So are you ready for your exciting trip? And have you thought of everything you need? If not, let me advise that you need an experienced and certified tour guide passionate about Mexican history and culture! I want to help you discover the connections between past and present. Come, I invite you to let me guide you so that you can connect and immerse yourself with Mexico, you will love it!

If you are hunting for the most famous museums in the world, you will love to visit 2 of the most emblematic museums in Mexico, both located within a green forest. The name of this forest is Chapultepec, and it's the nearest one to Downtown Mexico City. One of the museums we'll visit is the National Museum of History, which is actually inside a castle atop Chapultepec Hill, where you'll be able to enjoy the confluence between history, culture and nature, also enjoying beautiful views of Mexico City. The other one is the National Museum of Anthropology, which is considered to be one of the world's 10 most important museum, and exhibits the largest archaeological collection in Mexico. This will allow you to get closer to the country's cultural diversity of Mexico, as I guide you to identify the most impressive pieces that are presented. I designed this tour to introduce you to the history behind obtaining our identity as Mexicans, and how our concept of being a Nation evolved through the years.
