Sailing through its streams on a Trajinera covered in flowers, going through its green chinampas, listening to live Mariachi heart-moving songs, while having a tequila or mezcal and sharing with AMIGOS authentic Mexican food. Julio is an amazing tour guide, He is remarkably knowledgeable about Mexican history, culture, art and architecture but also makes the tour fun. We laughed all day. Julio was also very flexible pivoting to shorten one museum visit so that we could include a second museum visit to fit our interests. It was a very enjoyable and educational day. I cannot recommend Julio highly enough.

In Xochimilco, we enjoyed a vibrant trajinera boat ride through the canals, experiencing local traditions and music. Then, In Coyoacán, we explored charming cobblestone streets, visited Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul, and learned fascinating details about the area’s rich history. His insights into culture, art, and daily life made the tour truly immersive. We started with a guide and left feeling we made a friend!
Julio was wonderful in showing us around Xochimilco and Coyoacan. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of Mexico. Julio is highly energetic and our two teenage children were highly engaged throughout the tour. Lots of fun and we all learned a great deal from him.
Julio was an incredible guide, our favorite out of all our time in Mexico. He was kind enough to customize a tour for us and made sure to pick us up from our hotel and drop us off at the airport for a late afternoon flight. Julio is kind, funny, and great to chat with. His knowledge of Mexico City is endless and he did such a fantastic job at sharing his Mexican history, culture, food, and art with us. HIGHLY recommend!!

We loved seeing two distinct neighborhoods: Xochimilco (via a lovely boat ride) and Coyoacan. Julio gave us a great tour through the Kahlo museum and the highlights of both neighborhoods. His English was terrific, he was extremely personable and knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be with.
*The first stop we're having is the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco and take a Trajinera through the streams with the music and food. * Then we're going to visit Coyocan's main plaza, where going the visit the kiosk, the artistry market, the gardens, the church of San Juan Bautista, and the House of Cortés. *After that, we're visiting as you prefer (Frida Kahlo Museum, Juan O'Gorman House, Diego Rivera Workshop, Trusky House). * Finally we are having lunch In a very local place!
