Overview of your Ohrid tour
In this one day tour you will enjoy in the wonderfull nature and visit a few interesting places situated on the shores of the lake, including the city of STRUGA, the MONASTERY COMPLEX dedicated to the ASSUMPTION OF MOTHER OF GOD-14 century, placed on the Ohrid lakeshore in a natural rocky environment with impressive cave church settled in the middle of the Stavropegial Monastery complex. After that, we continue along the shore and just a few km. later, we will approach the MKJD - ALB border and we continue to our next destination-the city of POGRADEC(ALB). A coffee time or a short walk, and again we are crossing the other border point on the other side of the lake and we enter MKD. We visit the most popular medieval cultural monument- ST. NAUM MONASTERY COMPLEX-10th. Also, the most beautiful water springs are near the church creating an atmosphere of joy and calmness. LUNCH/COFEE in the restaurant on the small beautiful island. Heading to Ohrid with a stop at the Bay of the Bones. More info in the photo.
Your Ohrid tour itinerary
At the morning, after a previous agreement between us about the right time of departure I will take You with my vehicle and the tour can start. We will make a circle around Ohrid lake which is somewhere around 95km-100km. We will visit a few main places on the shores of Ohrid lake, all of them are incredibly beautiful and they are : City of STRUGA MONASTERY COMPLEX dedicated to THE ASSUMPTION OF MOTHER OF GOD with the cave church from 14 c. ( The healing Mother of God Icon and healing water springs ) LIN VILLAGE & PENINSULA - Situated only a few kilometers after the border point between MKD-ALB City of POGRADEC - Small city on the Albanian side of the lake, just opposite from Ohrid MONASTERY COMPLEX dedicated to SAINT atmosphere the patron of the city of Ohrid, the most famous medieval Slavic teacher, healer and the founder of the Monastery church(the most important medieval Christian monument ). BAY OF THE BONES- PREHISTORIC SETTLEMENT ON WATER 1200b. c - 700 b. c Heading to Ohrid.
