Overview of your Ohrid tour
During this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the mountain village Kuratica one of the most popular ethno villages in the Ohrid region. It is situated in a wonderful natural surrounding where you will experience the unique village ambient and enjoy in the traditional Macedonian organic food. We will see the old village house architecture and the traditional way of life of the Macedonian villager. After a short walk, we are going on a Donkey Safari to explore the divine beauty of the untouched natural environment which is surrounding the village. When we finish the Safari we are going back to the village and you will enjoy the taste of the local organic cuisine. Also, You will have the opportunity to see the most environmentally friendly natural washing machine in the world that is still used today, called "Valavici". The owners will explain to you how the whole system functions while you enjoy in this traditional technique transferred from generation to generation.
Your Ohrid tour itinerary
The tour will take around 4-5 hours. The start point is city of Ohrid. After our arrival in the village, we will stop in the "village center" and make a short walk to see the traditional house architecture, then we will visit the most unique and environmentally friendly washing machine which is using only natural water resources and then we will participate in the Donkey safari and enjoy the unforgetable ride in the wonderful natural village surrounding. When we come back to the village we have Lunch time at the Traditional ethnic restaurant were you will taste the local traditional food. After lunch we are going back to the city of Ohrid.
