Lesotho private tours

The tour was great. Motlatsi is the perfect guide to explore the beautiful country of Lesotho. He is very nice and funny and has a great knowledge about Lesotho. The trip involves some driving but Motlatsi gave us a lot of background knowledge about the area and also some funny stories. He is a great driver and we always felt safe during the trip. The Maletsunyane Falls as the highlight of the tour are absolutely stunning. We totally recommend doing this trip :)

A terrific tour. Motlatsi is an excellent guide, professional, personable and very insightful on Lesotho and its people. This tour included several places in the “Tentative UNESCO World Heritage Site of Basotho” and it was very easy to understand why it was included on that list. Everything listed on the itinerary was accurate, the drive was very comfortable, and it was just a fun day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three day tour with Motlatsi. If you’re planning a trip to Lesotho, I absolutely recommend his services. He’s a dedicated, knowledgeable guide, from whom we learned a great deal about Lesotho. He’s also an excellent safe driver. We started with a tour in and around Maseru. Motlatsi even drove us past the best choices for restaurants so that we would find them easily on our own in the evenings. We spent one day at the Thaba Bosiu Cultural Centre and did the hike to the top of the mountain to learn about the legacy of King Moshoeshoe I. The hike is mostly on a paving stone pathway. It’s a must to do the climb, as you will learn a lot about the King and the founding of Lesotho. We also spent a day in Semonkong with a visit to the wonderful waterfall nearby. All in all, an excellent program with a very special guide. We feel that we experienced and learned a great deal about Lesotho in a fairly short time - I’m delighted with our tour and with Motlatsi’s services as our guide.
