My name is Motlatsi: I have been in the tour guide sector since 2006. I have a strong background in Electronics and Information Technology (IT), having been train in the United Kingdom in Electronics and IT training in South Africa. Spent most of the time in customer service providing technical and software support. Have been travelling to several countries both on my IT business and on tours during family vacations. This is where the interest for dealing with tourists came about. Then in 2006, 2007 and 2009 I attended several training programs in tour guiding. Since then I have had tourists from all over the world. Notably from, USA, South America, UK, Germany, Philippines, Singapore, New Zealand, Georgia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, China, Indonesia, several African Countries, etc. For me this is the most fulfilling work I have ever done all my life. I get to meet people with different cultural backgrounds, different personalities. It makes me more of a human being than anything. What I like most is dealing with small groups, like family or a few friends as it gives me an opportunity to provide a personalized service. I got training by Drum Beat Academy in South Africa in 2007 and qualified as a Nature Guide for the areas of Freestate Province and the Kingdom of Lesotho. Accredited as guide by the Freestate Government - Registration No. FS0045. Also received training in 2009 at SATSA (Southern Africa Tourism Services Association). My vehicle is not wheelchair friendly, but I can hire one if you let me know at least two weeks in advance.
