Overview of your Kisumu tour
Our Journey starts from Kisumu town and takes us to Kakamega Forest, the Canopy Of Natural Beauty for nature walk. It's not your usual Walking safari but an Adventure into a dense and lush ecosystem that welcomes you with sounds of bird songs and chattering monkeys. The air is filled with butterflies giving it a scenic beauty. The excursion continues to Saiwa Swamp National Park, Sanctuary of the Sitatunga antelope. A habitat of the rare semi-aquatic Sitatunga, Saiwa is veritable haven for nature lovers with exotic flowers, trees and birds. Our journey then heads to Mt Elgon National Park which is renowned for it's lava tube Caves formed by salt mining Elephants. It's high altitude montane forest dominates the landscape and supports a rich bird life. The upper slopes offers much to hikers and wildlife lovers hence the description "Untamed Wilderness, Secluded Splendor". Visitors can explore the forest, see the elephant caves and also enjoy biking, hiking and rock climbing.
