"Jambo" -Hello My name is Stephen and I come from Kisumu. I was born and raised here. Traveling and meeting new people is my passion and it has not only been something that I do, but it is something that has become a part of me. I am a local tour guide with over ten years experience in the local tourism industry. Offering tour guide services is my number one business. Through tour guiding I have been able to make friends from across the globe. Let me take you around this flamboyant lake side city Kisumu. From the famous Kondele Streets;home of bodaboda(Boda boda is public bicycle transport)where you will enjoy a bodaboda ride to Obunga and Nyawita, a walk to Kibuye market(biggest open air market in East Africa) all the way to the bus stop and the fish market, count it all fun. A visit to the local museum will enlighten you on the Luo land history and rich culture and the Sun downer experience in a traditional boat at the exquisite lake will make you not to regret your visit to Kisumu. Come enjoy local delicacy of fresh Tilapia from Africa's largest fresh water lake as you mingle with the hospitable people of Kisumu Dala. Feel free to contact me for a customized tour. "Aruaki Kisumo"(Welcome to Kisumu) Member of the Local Scouts Association since 2003 Over 10 years experience as a local tour guide I am not permitted to guide in the local Museum,Historical monuments and the National Archives as those places have their own guides.

Born and raised in Kisumu, I know this city like the back of my hands. Come let me show you around the Kisumu Impala park, an animal orphanage that was established in Kisumu to conserve local species of Impala, the rare Sitatunga Antelopes and the indigenous trees. At the Park you will see caged lions, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, hyena, jackals, Giraffes, Ostriches and buffaloes. The sanctuary is also a beautiful spot for sun downer experience, picnics, nature walk, bird watching and glass-bottomed boat rides. These tours give you unforgettable memories and feelings. Come experience the wild nature. I am here to help you find all of this in one day.
