Overview of your San Gimignano tour
A day to visit 2 beautiful towns of Tuscany: Pisa and Lucca. We will start with Pisa, and we will stay in the Cathedral area with the Baptistery, Cahedrla, and leaning tower. You will be fascinated by the beauty of the square where all the buildings are decorated with white marble. I will tell you the history of the buildings and especially why the tower is leaning. After that, we will drive to an agriturismo close to Lucca. We will have a delicious Tuscan meal and wine tasting in the countryside. Then we will drive to Lucca, a medieval town made of beautiful small alleys, towers, and walls, and the town of the composer Puccini. The wall is a symbol of the town: the place where everybody loves to take a walk, a bike ride, or maybe to take a lover for the first appointment. Please contact me in advance, in case you want to climb the leaning tower. It will be a beautiful day to discover some unique areas of Tuscany.
Your San Gimignano tour itinerary
I will come to meet you at your hotel in Florence. - Pisa will be the first stop. We need about 1 hour and a half of driving - Then we move to the agritursmo. We will need about 4'0 minutes driving from Pisa - Then we go to Lucca. We will need about 30 minutes driving from the agriturismo. - Finally, we get back to Florence with a drive of about 40 minutes.
