Overview of your San Gimignano tour

Tuscany is famous for jills, medieval towns, food and wine. With this tour, you will enjoy all of them! We will do this tour using a minivan, and to reach any place, we will need about 1 hour of driving. We will start by visiting Siena, Florence's eternal enemy. We will see her beautiful streets, Campo Square, and I will tell you about the traditional Palio there. We will have lunch in a farmhouse near San Gimignano, which specializes in saffron and honey, where you will have lunch made with their products. If you prefer we can have lunch in a winery where you can taste some wines during lunch. Then, we will drive to San Gimignano, passing through the Chianti area, which is surrounded by beautiful hills and vineyards. San Gimignano is a typical "medieval borgo," a little town built on top of a hill that preserves the original medieval style: towers, a small alley, and amazing views. Let's go!

The tour starts in Florence: - First drive in about 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach Siena - Then we have about 45 minutes driving to San Gimignano ( driving in the cianti area) - The winery or farmhouse is close to San Gimignano, about 20 minutes driving - The way back to Florence is about 1 hour. All timing depends on the traffic
